Will nations gather to improve their relations with Israel, finally causing her to rest in peace?
We know that when Israel is finally at peace, then comes sudden destruction. 1 Thessalonians 5:3
It seems the Israel of the last days was prophesied to discover oil.
On his death bed, Jacob called his sons together…
“Gather together, that I might tell you what shall befall you in the last days.” Gen 49:2
To the tribal land of Joseph (one of Jacob’s sons)…
“By the God of your father who will help you, and by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above blessings of the deep that lie beneath.” Gen 49:25
Before Moses’ death he said of Joseph’s tribe…
“Asher is most blessed of sons; let him be favored by his brothers, and let him dip his foot in oil.
Blessed of the LORD be his land, with the choice things of Heaven, with the dew, and with the deep lying beneath…” Deuteronomy 33:24-25
Ezekiel 38:4 (God speaking to nations that rise up against Israel) – “I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army–your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.” What would cause nations to turn about, towards Israel, as if they had hooks in their jaws?
