We, as Christians, are commissioned to bring the light to a dark world. Bring the gospel of Jesus to those who know nothing about Him.
But some people do not want to hear about God, their creator; even when they know there’s a possibility that there is more after death.
Some are so afraid to know the truth. Maybe because they would then have to believe in God and actually have some kind of faith. But that would make them look stupid, wouldn’t it? … wouldn’t it?
Maybe some don’t want to change the life they are living, just in case God is not real, because then they would miss out on all the ‘goods’ of life.
So they build walls… walls of unbelief, walls of justification, walls of earthly facts (some even based on lies); to explain it all away.
Don’t fight these people. Show them love, try to open their hearts to receive the truth, but don’t fight them.
And if they won’t hear you, move on, to others who are hungry for God.
Jesus answered and said to them, “Do not grumble among yourselves. “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. “It is written in the prophets, ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.'” John 6:43-45
