Replacement Theology: Christian Zionism vs Christian Palestinianism

 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”  Matt 24:24

Replacement Theology (also known as super-session-ism) essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plan, and that the many promises made to Israel in the Bible are fulfilled in the Christian church, not in Israel.   So, the prophecies in Scripture concerning the blessing and restoration of Israel to the Promised Land are “spiritualized” or “allegorized” into promises of God’s blessing for the church.

    1. Christian Judaism or ‘Messianic Judaism’ is simply Jews that believe Jesus is the Messiah.
      Messianic Jews often express their faith in a Jewish cultured setting, i.e. worship in Messianic Jewish synagogues (open to anyone). They generally follow Jewish perspectives like blending evangelical Christian theology with elements of religious Jewish practice and terminology; unlike Christian churches who express their faith in Jesus in a non-Jewish way.
      These Jews are also known as ‘completed Jews’ in that they have completed their faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, by accepting Jesus as the son of God, and as their King. I hope this helps, thanks.
