Houston TX Pastors Take Stand Against Mayor’s Bully Tactics

US Senator for Texas, Ted Cruz:

The scripture commands the believers, that we are to be salt and light, and you cannot be salt unless you are in contact with that with-which you are preserving.  You cannot be light if you’re hidden under a bushel.

Matthew 5:13-16 (KJV)

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Take a moment now to sign a petition to the City of Houston and let them know that pastors and people of faith—who are a significant part of America’s rich rainbow of diversity—share the same fundamental rights as other groups.  More here.
