To the unsuspecting eye these are merely two natural events occasioning the world, four days apart; however, to those looking for signs of the times, it is just that. And by sharing signs, we hope to reach lost souls whose hearts might wake to God with such sights and wonders.
In the new testament, the apostle Peter tells the crowd, to who he is preaching: “‘In the last days, God says . . . I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke (Acts 2:19).'”
May 21, 2015: A perfectly round rainbow-like “halo” surrounded the “sun” in several Mexican cities, including the country’s capital on Thursday. People spent the day with their heads looking up at the sky, trying to capture the phenomenon and share it on social media. More here.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28).
May 21, 2015 – Four days later (the day God created the sun):
A volcano atop one of the Galapagos Islands erupted for the first time in 33 years (the age Jesus burst from the grave), threatening a fragile ecosystem that inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution.
Ecuador’s Galapagos National Park administration said the 1.7 kilometre-high Wolf volcano began spewing fire, smoke and lava before dawn Monday. More here.
These are exiting times, and one does not have to be a prophet to see God speaking to His creation; just a believer. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27)”
