No Man Knows the Day Nor the Hour / But What About the ‘Season?’

Mark Biltz is said to be the one who originally discovered the relationship between the rare 4 blood moon tetrad, Biblical feasts, and major world events (after-which John Hagee made publicly known in 2013).

By the use of the NASA website, Bible scripture, and the Jewish calendar, Mr. Biltz shares his research findings that the second coming of Jesus will be another major event that should also happen during a Jewish feast, and he shares exactly which feast.

Mr. Biltz explains that when the sun/moon’s “appointed times” to give signs coincide with the Biblical feast appointments God issued to Moses, there is about to be big news in the world.

SIGNS & SEASONS:  Two of God’s reasons for placing the sun, moon and stars in the heavens, were for signs and seasons (also meaning festivals/moed.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:  Gen 1:14

FEASTS OF THE LORD:  Leviticus 23 talks about the Feasts of the Lord, which in Hebrew means appointments (moed).  These feasts/festivals were not Jewish holidays, but rather God’s appointed times when Israel would go through holy “dress rehearsals” of what was going to happen, prophetically, in the future.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord (appointed festivals/moed), which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations (dress rehearsals/migra), these are my feasts.  Lev 23:23

With compelling detail, Mr. Biltz shows that since God fulfilled all of the prophetic “Spring” feasts (to the day) with the first coming of Jesus, He will then fulfill the “fall” feasts with the second coming of Jesus.

SPRING “PROPHETIC” FEASTS

  • Passover:  Jesus was Crucified on Passover
  • Unleavened bread:  Jesus was buried on the feast of “Unleavened bread” (representing His sinless body with no decay)
  • First Fruits:  Jesus Resurrected from death on the day of First Fruits
  • Weeks / Pentecost:  On the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit is poured out (this feast represents the coming of the Holy Ghost Salvation)

SUMMER HARVEST:  This is the “GAP” between the spring, and fall feasts – a “dispensation of Grace” period (dispensation means exemption from a rule or usual requirement).  This is a time, God set aside, for the church to harvest souls – the “Church age.”

Feast Days

Mr. Biltz concludes that the next feast, to be fulfilled, is the season/festival of the Feast of Trumpets, and that when celestial signs such as a four blood moon tetrad coincide with that feast day, it will herald the big event of the second coming of Jesus.

NOTE***  Mr. Biltz is not giving any specific dates or years; only that the second coming of Jesus will fall on one of the 2 days during the Feast of Trumpets.

FALL “PROPHETIC” FEASTS (BEGIN WITH THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS)

The book of Revelation parallels trumpets to:  Warning before Judgment, the last trump, coronation of the King, resurrection of the dead, wedding of the Messiah, Jacob’s Trouble/Tribulation.

The Feast of Trumpets also known as “The Last Trump– is the only feast where the Jews blow the shofar 100 times, in a series of short, staccato and long blasts, with the lone 100th blow being “the last trump.”

Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  1 Corinthians 15:52

The Feast of Trumpets is also known as “No one knows the day nor the hour.”  Because this feast was based on the sighting of the new moon each month, no one knew the day, nor the hour that the feast began; so they carried it for 2 days once it did begin so everyone around the nations, would be able to observe it (AKA the feast of the long day).  This still stands today.  Therefore, the Lord could return on either day of the Feast of Trumpets; no one knows exactly which day or hour.

The Feast of Trumpets is also known as “the hidden day.”   Referring to the first advent of Jesus – that if the “princes of this world” had known his coming, they would not have crucified Him.  As such, this day is hidden from Satan (the Prince of the world) so he will not know when it will be.

Paul wrote to the “Watching” Church:

But of the times (appointed feasts) and the seasons (festivals/moed), brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  1 Thess 5:1-2

God’s warning to a sleeping church (a church not watching for the second coming):

Captain of the fire - Night shiftAnd unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.  Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.  Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.  If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.  Rev 3:1-3

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  Rev 3:17-18

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.  Rev 16:15

The photo comes from the story of the sleeping priest who is set on fire as punishment, and wakes screaming.  This story parallels a “sleeping church” who will awake, “naked” in shame, when they realized they missed the second coming of Jesus.

He comes as a thief to the sleeping church.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  1 Thess 5:3-5

The Five Wise, and Five Foolish Virgins

And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Virgins of Bible

Speaking to the foolish virgins (sleeping church), the bridegroom:

answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

More stories of faithful (watching) and unfaithful (sleeping) servants can be found in in Luke 37-48.

Mr. blitz maintains that we need to know what the signs are in order to be watching; like Israel becoming a nation in 1948, and Jerusalem retaken in 1967.

In Luke chapter 19, Jesus rebukes the Pharacies (the leaders of the day) for not knowing the time of the visitation.

And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes . . . And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
